A Living Room Story: Minneapolis
When we bought our 1930's Tudor home in South Minneapolis, there had only been 4 owners. The last two owners were from the same family. The last owner had lived in this house for 50+ years! Here is the living room before we updated it. We removed the carpet, and painted the walls. Outside we removed the awnings to get more light into the space. Below is just the carpet removed, prior to getting the floors refinished. We couldn't decide whether to paint the modeling or not, so we lived with it dark for a year. In the end we decided to paint it white (to match everything else in the rest of the house)
