A Bathroom Story: Out with Old

One of the first remodels we completed was the bathroom. We decided to complete it before moving in- So this is a long overdue post. We wanted to keep the bathroom similar to the period of the house, as you will see with the updates we made.

Ikea cabinet

Eddie, did all the tiling himself 

New Kohler toilet. 

I bought a vintage 1930's sink to replace the terrible, stained, cabinet. When we removed the cabinet, there was a stain on the floor matching the exact sink foot print! 

Painted the bathroom a dark navy blue. 

and DONE:

We kept the original fixtures in the shower; the top two are for the shower, and the bottom three are for the tub. We just love the way it turned out.
