World Globes; Unconventional Decor

While I was out this past weekend I ran across some awesome globe lights at Scout in Andersonville

I just about fell over! 
I was told that they were created by Ted Harris, and had been on loan for the Museum of Science and Industry's Smart Home Exhibit! 
(Each Globe costs $899.00) 

This got me thinking...What other globes/Maps decor ideas are out there!?
