SMallART

As someone with quite a bit of personal and purchased artwork, it's hard to find perfect spaces for everything in a small city apartment.  For that reason, I have taken to small artworks.  There are so many little wall spaces that are usually neglected, and can be prettied up with some visual curiosities.  As it is still Movember for a few more days, I thought I'd post a tiny collection of pictures I made with limited supplies.  This is a fast DIY, and can make a great personalized gift!  Memorialize your guy's (or gal's?) best efforts at a 'stache with a custom silhouette. Find a simple frame, and presto chango, you have a masterpiece!

Supplies needed:

   - Black paint or paper
   - White cardstock
   - Pencil or pen
   - X-acto knife
   - Glue or super sticky double sided tape
   - Black frame

Draw your 'stache of choice onto cardstock and carefully use your X-acto knife to cut out detail.  Adhere mustache on painted black or black paper or cardstock

Draw your 'stache design onto white cardstock and fill it in with black paint.  Alternatively, cut a mustache out of your black paper and adhere.

Frame and enjoy!
